am happy that the Web Page on Reviewing of State Industrial Policy
1997 of the Industries Department, Government of Meghalaya is
being launched.
The
State of Meghalaya
is rich in resources mainly mineral, Agro and Horticulture
products, forest products. Besides the State is gifted with
skilled artisans in the field of Handloom and Handicrafts.
It
is my privilege being the Minister of Industries to urge upon the
citizens of the State to come out with positive suggestion to
consolidate the position of the State in the Industrial map of the
Country.
On
this happy occasion, I extend my congratulations and best wishes
to all who will be involved in shaping and making a New Industrial
Policy for the State.
